RED Friday Support the Troops Charity Bracelet
On Fridays Show Your Support for Our Military Men and Women
On 12, January, 2014 we saw the movie Lone Survivor and were humbled by the Heroes of Operation Red Wings where 19 Patriots lost their lives.
Up until now, RED Fridays were pretty much just red t-shirts with support slogans. Then the e-mail requests starting coming in from our customers requesting a “RED Friday” item they can wear with their shirts (quoting one customer — “I want to beef up my RED Friday outfit!”). See the FAQ tab below for the story of “Red Fridays”.
Remember Everyone Deployed
Comes with our standard durable contour buckle. We use our Brass Dog Tag made from spent shell casings which reads:
THEY'RE IN OUR

Wear Red on RED Fridays & Show Your Support!!

Get the perfect fit for your bracelets by using these instructions. I need to know your wrist size — not bracelet size.
I’ve made thousands of bracelets and know how to knot up your order for a comfortable fit. But I need you to take a moment to get the right measurement info to me.
Why we need your wrist size? Depending on the knot and clasp, I add the necessary length to your wrist size to ensure your bracelet will fit properly. Do not add extra space to compensate for a comfortable fit!
- First, you'll need a ruler, a pen or pencil and a strip of paper about a half inch wide.
- Wrap the strip of paper lightly around your wrist.
- Mark the piece of paper right were it meets the starting point.
- Then measure that length on a ruler. Now you know what size to order!
The RED Friday idea has been around for a while but recently has gained popularity as a way to once each week visibly show your support for our military. Some sites noted that this began as an e-mail hoax. Tell that to the American Legion and others who do in fact wear red every Friday!
Here is an example of the “hoax” e-mail from 2005:
You will soon see a lot of people wearing RED on Fridays.
The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not “organized” to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, would like to start a grassroots movement using the membership of the Special Operations Association, and Special Forces Associations, and all their friends, simply to recognize that Americans support our troops. We need to inform the local VFW’s and American Legion, our local press, local TV, and continue carrying the message to the national levels as we start to get this going. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday, and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every RED – blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV — let’s see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of RED much like a home football game at a university.
If every one of our memberships shares this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED – and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear RED!
Let’s get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
Please forward this to everyone you know!!
Wear RED on Fridays. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Now that’s the kind of hoax we like! We did some digging a there are quite a few folks supporting the concept and therefore our Troops. Let’s make this “hoax” a reality!
Keep in mind each of your items will be handmade to order based on your specific order details. LEO and Military orders are given first priority and always go to the front of the line. Generally, most orders are knotted up and ship within 48-72 hours.
Due to the amount of knotting required on larger orders and dog leashes, these orders will take more time — so plan on an additional 5-7 days. If you have a specific in-house date don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know!
We keep it simple and even though the USPS raised their rates, again, on 9/3/17 -- we still offer you discounted rates for packages within the United States!
- Discounted Flat Rate USPS First Class of $2.95 for all orders under $25.00
- Free USPS First Class on orders over $25.00
- Discounted Priority Shipping of $5.95 (USPS Post Office Rate is $7.15!) available for orders under $50.00
- Free USPS Priority Shipping on orders over $50.00
You will receive an e-mail from us noting when your item(s) are on the way. All shipments have tracking numbers for Delivery Confirmation.
PLEASE be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book, approved senders or white-list so you get our e-mail confirmations!
We are in zip code 38668 in northern Mississippi. First Class USPS will vary to your location. Let’s be real — Uncle Sam’s postal service is not the most consistent or reliable. So plan on 3-5 days to get your package; possibly longer if you are on either coast or there are weather issues in your neck of the woods.
We highly recommend if you want to get your items faster that you upgrade to Priority using our special customer deal for only $5.95 which takes 2-3 days from our location to yours once in Uncle Sam’s hands (and even that isn’t guaranteed by USPS!).
