June 14th is Flag Day. A little history for you:
- Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on this day 235 years ago by resolution of the Second Continental Congress in 1777.
- The United States Army’s Birthday (originally called “the American continental army”) is on this date too. Happy 237th!
- In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day.
- In August 1949, National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress.
I hope you have Old Glory flying proudly at your homestead like we do. In honor of our national symbol of Freedom, we are proud to introduce our new 275 Tactical Cord Patriot Bracelet. The Patriot has a red edge, blue center and two alternating white stripes to mimic the stars on Old Glory. With the yellow ribbon reflecting your support for our military shows the world you are a true American Patriot.
We have our Patriot and our American Pride 550 Cord bracelet on sale every 4th. You have more than enough time to order yours so you can show you true colors on Independence Day.
