You can come and see us at the Southaven, MS Flea Market located on Rt. 51 just north of Goodman Road. The Swap Meet and Flea Market is held the 4th Saturday and Sunday of each month. Rain or shine — we’re inside the arena!

Hours: Saturday 8a-6p, Sunday 9a-5p

This gives you the opportunity to come and chat with me, and after you make your color selection, I’ll measure your wrist and make your custom survival bracelet right on the spot!

If you need a bunch of bracelets for your team or squad, it would be great if you can order them online first. Then shoot me an e-mail to let me know you’ll come by and pick them up at the Flea Market. That way I’ll be sure to have them ready for you!

Crawfish Festival was a Blast!

A big shout out and thank you to Ron & Lisa Bobal for organizing a tremendous event! The Overton Square Crawfish Festival in Memphis had crawfish flying and the beer was flowing!!

We had a beautiful day and a great crowd with good music and conversation. The only downside was I was so busy I couldn’t make bracelets and monkey fists for everyone who wanted them! I literally was knotting for the entire event and we were the last ones to pack up off of Madison so they could open the street to traffic again.

Judi (“she who is my wife”) mentioned we have to start bringing our camera to these events so that we can share some of our fun with you. Which we will try to do so from now on and post a couple after our events.

Don’t know what good that would have done Saturday though… We didn’t even get a bathroom break — nor did we get to have even one crawfish or a single beer. Not complaining — the day flew by and we met bunches of great folks and hope to be back again next year!

Visit Me @Shelby Farms Flea Market Memphis

Some bad news… We’ve been advised that the “Shelby Farms” flea market can no longer be held. Turns out the Memphis Flea Market is moving from the fair grounds to the AgriCenter. And due to all the legal mumbo-jumbo and a no-compete in the contract, Shelby Farms will not be able to have their own flea market there any longer. Bummer!

So we may not be coming back to Shelby… We’ll have to wait and see if the great Shelby Farms organizers find a new venue or if this is it. We’re hoping they do as they were a pleasure to work with (unlike the Memphis crew who after numerous phone calls made it clear they were uninterested in talking to or working with current Shelby Farms vendors).

You can still come and see me at the Southaven Flea Market the 4th weekend of every month. And I’ll post when we do fairs and fests here too. The next fest is Thunder on Water in Grenada, MS on June 13-15th.

Will update here when/if we hear anything on the Shelby Farms Flea Market.
